beijing, september 28, 2020 – megvii technology limited has customized
and deployed a smart industrial park management solution for , one of the largest hydropower
projects in pakistan with a planned installed capacity of 720 mw. it is the
first investment project of the silk road fund, and part of the china–pakistan
economic corridor.
the solution taps into megvii’s proprietary technology capabilities,
helping site managers enhance safety and optimize efficiency at the project
site.
karot hydropower project, megvii’s first ever international smart
industrial park project, has proven the effectiveness of megvii’s smart
community management solutions, providing critical support for almost 1,000
staff on the site spanning 30 square kilometers in over one year of operations.
leveraging advanced data analytics technology, the smart solution is
designed to solve challenges site managers may encounter when overseeing
construction progress and site management, including responding quickly to
workplace safety incidents, and enhancing security. the solution is powered by an
array of megvii’s technology capabilities, including facial and vehicle
recognition for automatic personnel authentication and access control, as well
as integration and analysis of visual data from different devices and platforms
at the project location. it also encompasses real-time alerts for various
incidents and emergencies that could occur at the construction site.
